 아래 사진처럼 [[음향:audio_equipment:connector:db25|D-sub]] 커넥터를 이용해서 8채널을 구성하기도 하는 것은 AES59 라고 하며, Tascam 방식의 핀배열과 Yamaha 방식의 핀 배열의 두가지 종류가 있다.((서로 호환되지 않는다.)) 표준은 Tascam 방식이다.
