Artificial Double Tracking

Artificial Double Tracking (ADT) is the technique of creating a sound similar to double-tracked audio by introducing short delays of less than 50 milliseconds alongside the original sound. This effect was developed by George Martin, the music producer for the band The Beatles, to achieve a doubling effect on vocals during the production of The Beatles' albums.
