| Stereo is an audio format that differs from mono in that it uses the left and right channels. By the orientation of the left and right speakers, a virtual phantom image is created, which is referred to as a stereo image. Through this stereo image, sounds can be spatially arranged within the stereo image space, creating a sense of directionality in the sound. By utilizing two independent channels, we can generate sounds coming from various directions, much like how humans hear with two ears.
